WASH Specialist & Engineer
Elise is a water and sanitation consultant with over eight years of experience in the sector, primarily focusing on addressing sustainable issues related to water, waste, and climate adaptation, mitigation, and resilience. While at Aguaconsult, Elise has led climate resilience projects in Ghana and Rwanda. She has also conducted sector assessments, designed strategies, and evaluated programs for various organizations, including the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, IRC, GIZ, Water.org, and UNICEF.
Before joining Aguaconsult, Elise worked with Action Against Hunger, an international non-governmental organization, on large-scale waste projects in Lebanon. She has also collaborated on several innovative research studies with the research and development department of SIAAP in Paris and Notre Dame University in Lebanon.
Elise holds a B.E. and an M.Sc. in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Her undergraduate thesis on energy recovery from food waste and wastewater earned her the Lebanese Research Award in 2016. Both her undergraduate and graduate theses led to the publication of several scientific articles. She is fluent in French, English, and Arabic.
