Analía is an environmental engineer and a microbiologist, specializing in water, sanitation, and hygiene for international cooperation with three years experience. Prior to joining Aguaconsult Analía worked in Colombia and Cambodia on Solid Waste, Sanitation & Water Supply projects; including working in the Colombian post-conflict directorate as a 'Development Infrastructure advisor' working with multilateral institutions, donors, beneficiaries, local and national governments on both national and district rural reform plans. She is experienced in implementing alternative drinking water and sanitation solutions in rural, post-conflict, and humanitarian settings; with knowledge of low- and middle-income countries' water and sanitation provision challenges related to policy, institutions, service delivery models, and regulatory frameworks.
Analía holds a MSc in Water, Science, Policy, and Management at the University of Oxford, an MA in international WASH from Universidad de Alcalá de Henares-Madrid and a double major BEng in Environmental Engineering/BSc Microbiology from Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá. She is educated to apply science, technology, and entrepreneurship to solve social, environmental, and public health issues.
Analía is fluent in Spanish and English,with intermediate Italian.
