Alban is a Junior water, sanitation and hygiene specialist who joined Aguaconsult in January 2025. Before joining Aguaconsult, Alban received the prestigious Chevening Scholarship to   pursue an MSc in Water, Sanitation, and Health Engineering at the University of Leeds in 2023. Alban’s dissertation looked into quantifying packaged water consumption and the resulting plastic pollution in the Global south.

Prior to this, Alban worked as a water project manager at Service de Génie et Construction in DR Congo, where he oversaw large infrastructure projects, including the construction of a rural water supply pipeline and a 90m3 concrete reservoir.  Additionally Alban worked as a Graduate Civil Engineering Technologist at Virtual Consulting Engineers  (VCE).

Before working for SGC and Aguaconsult, Alban  completed his Bachelors of Technology in Civil Engineering at Cape Peninsula  University of Technology in South Africa where he was awarded Best student in  Water Engineering for the 2016 academic year.
